SriKalahasti is a popular shrine of Lord Shiva which has the meaning of Sri (Spider), Kala(Snake), Hasthi(Elephant). SriKalahasteeswara here is worshiped as Vaayu Lingam and is a powerful shrine. Also, it is famous for its Rahu-Ketu pooja which will ward the people from astrological effects of Rahu and Kethu. Devotees can now get a chance to take the blessings of Lord Shiva by booking a one day Kalahasti tour package.

Bestbus provides a tour package to SriKalahasti from Tirupati by car transportation for one day. The trip starts by picking up passengers from their chosen boarding points and departing to Sri Kalahasthi. After arriving at Sri Kalahasti, proceed to the darshan of Lord Siva. After darshan, there will be a return journey to Tirupati and passengers will be dropped off at their boarding points. This package includes car transportation for the entire trip. Proceed to Sri Kalahasti temple darshan - Srikalahasti has the popular temple of Lord Shiva in the name of Srikalahasteeswara. Srikalahasti means Sri means Spider, Kala means Snake and Hasti means Elephant. It is one of the Panchabhuta Lingas temples and here it is in the form of Vayu Lingam.
