Narayanavanam is well-known for Lord Balaji temple named Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple. This is the place where Lord Balaji and Goddess Padmavati Devi got married. After the marriage, Lord Balaji took Deeksha to Srinivasa Mangapuram as per the advice of Sri Agasthya Maharshi and then he reached Tirumala on the way from Srivari Mettu.
