The Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple is a hindu temple located in Narayanavanam town in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Kalyana Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu.
It is believed that Venkateswara married his consort goddess Padmavathi at this place and then moved to Tirumala.
The Narayanavanam temple is organized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD). Daily rituals are held as per Vaikanasa Agama. The temple was established in the year 1541 AD and was extended in later times.
As per legend, Narayanavanam is the capital of king Akasaraja, who is ruling this region. Akasaraja performed the marriage of his daughter Padmavati in Tiruchanur to lord Venkateswara in Tirumala at this place.
