A Legend Stories of the Bull Temple

The area of the temple was agricultural land where rice, peanuts are cultivated by many people. But at the end of the harvesting season, Bull used to rampage through fields damaging the crop and terrifying people. Everyone decided to get rid of the bull and one of them hit the bull on the head. Rather than panicking, It sat down and turned to a statue growing constantly. After hearing the prayers of villagers, Lord Shiva placed a metal plate on the head of the bull ending its growth. By this miracle, people consider the statue as a holy spirit and celebrate a festival.
