• Helicopter services can make the journey easier, but
• Official details for 2026 helicopter service status are yet to be confirmed — most 2026 planning guides still mention:
• Helicopter routes from Baltal and Pahalgam to Panchtarni.
• Booking opens in advance — usually in May–June.
• Advance booking is essential because slots fill quickly.

Health & Safety Tips

• Start fitness preparation (walking, breathing exercises) weeks before trek.
• Carry warm clothes, rain protection, trekking shoes, water & basic medicines.
• Altitude can cause discomfort — move slowly and stay hydrated.
• Follow yatra marshals and safety guidelines at all checkpoints.

Additional Tips

• Carry essentials only — luggage limits may apply for helicopter/ponies.
• Ponies & palkis are available at base camps for those who can’t trek.
• Respect local rules and security checks — cooperation ensures smooth journey.

Air Tickets:

•  Flights from Bengaluru / Hyderabad or any other city to Jammu can be arranged in advance at best available fares.

Helicopter Services:

•  Helicopter tickets (subject to availability & government approval) can be booked in advance with a nominal service charge.

Terms & Conditions-

• Guests must carry valid photo ID and address proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Driving License).
• For international guests, a valid passport is mandatory.
• Failure to produce valid documents may result in denial of entry at certain places, for which Ambika Holidays shall not be responsible.
• For Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, all pilgrims must comply with Government of India / Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) regulations, including mandatory registration, RFID card, and health guidelines.
• Medical Fitness Certificate (as prescribed by SASB) is compulsory for Amarnath Yatra.
• Pilgrims not meeting medical requirements may be denied permission, and no refund shall be applicable in such cases.
• Yatra registration, permits, and darshan slips are subject to availability and government approval.
• Helicopter tickets, pony, palki, pithu, porter charges, and any other local services are not included unless specifically mentioned.
• These services are non-refundable and non-transferable once booked.
• The management reserves the right to change the seating capacity or vehicle type as per booking strength and operational requirements.
• Vehicles may be changed to Tempo Traveller (10/12 seater), Toyota Innova Crysta, or Swift Dzire, if required.
• Any purchase or consumption shall be at the sole discretion of the traveller, and the company shall not be responsible for disputes or quality issues.
• The management reserves the right to amend the itinerary, change routes, or skip destinations due to weather conditions, landslides, government restrictions, medical emergencies, or any unavoidable circumstances.
• Entry tickets, darshan tickets, monument fees, and local attraction charges are not included unless clearly specified in the tour inclusions.
• Local conveyance charges from parking points to temples or sightseeing places (where tourist vehicles are not permitted) shall be borne by the guests.
• Air-conditioning in vehicles will operate only in plains and during summer season and will not operate in hilly or restricted areas.
• No refund shall be provided in case of mechanical breakdown, landslides, traffic congestion, bad weather, natural calamities, or any situation beyond the control of Ambika Holidays.
• As per Government regulations, valid photo ID must be presented at hotel check-in.
• Non-compliance may result in denial of accommodation without refund.
• All bookings are subject to confirmation against advance payment.
• In case of any increase in government taxes, fuel charges, toll fees, or permit costs, Ambika Holidays reserves the right to revise the tour cost accordingly.

IMPORTANT: 

• Heavy rain, landslides, government interference, or force majeure conditions may affect or cancel Amarnath Darshan / Shiv Khori Darshan / sightseeing.
• No refund shall be applicable in such cases.
• Operator is not responsible for additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as roadblocks, landslides, medical emergencies, or weather disruptions.
• Guests are advised to beware of bogus agents at railway stations and airports.

• Any additional cost arising due to contingencies beyond the control of Ambika Holidays shall be paid directly by the guests.
• Guests must strictly adhere to the reporting time and schedule communicated by the Tour Manager/Driver.
• Missing the vehicle will require self-arrangement at the guest’s own cost.
• Meals will be provided only at planned locations as per the itinerary.
• Meals and accommodation due to delays caused by landslides, road closures, or personal reasons shall be borne by the guests.
• Travel insurance is not included. Guests are strongly advised to arrange personal travel and medical insurance, especially for Amarnath Yatra.
• Senior citizens, children, and guests with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to consult a physician before undertaking the Amarnath Yatra.
• Participation is entirely at the guest’s own risk.
• No refund or adjustment will be made for unused services, missed darshan, or sightseeing due to late arrival, personal reasons, health issues, or voluntary withdrawal from the tour.
• Rates are not valid during long weekends, festivals, peak Yatra period, or New Year, unless specifically mentioned.
• Jurisdiction: All disputes shall be subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.

Cancellation Policy

• In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges will be as Follows:
• Cancellations before 30 days prior to departure: 25% cancellation charges will be applicable
• Cancellations before 15 days prior to departure: 50% cancellation charges will be applicable
• Cancellations before 10 days prior to departure: 100% cancellation charges will be applicable
• No refund in case of no show
• Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday and National holidays, any cancellation sent on Sunday’s or national holidays will be considered on next working day.
• For the X-mas and New Year period, Diwali, Dusserhra, Long weekend  the payment is non-refundable.
• No Show: If the customer does not show up at the scheduled time and place, the full cost of the booking will be charged, and no refund will be provided.
