About Falaknuma Palace:
Falaknuma is a royal castle built by the Nawab Sir Viqar-Ul-Umra, Prime Minister of Hyderabad. The palace is considered as the private residence of Viqar until it was handovered to the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad.
Falaknuma palace Hyderabad, was built in the combination of Italian and Tudor architecture and took nine years to complete the construction and furnish the entire palace. It was expanded in 32 acres of land and located near 5km distance to Charminar.
After it was occupied by the Nizam, he used the palace as the residence to royal guests and later it was open to the public from 2000.
The main attractions of Falaknuma palace are the state reception room, Ball room, entrance of the palace, the dining hall with royal furnishings.
About Chowmahalla Palace:
Chowmahalla Palace is the palace of four places derived from the Farsi language. Chowmahalla palace in hyderabad belongs to the heirs of Asaf Jahi Dynasty who once ruled the state. Palace construction was begun in the late 18th century and took decades to complete it. We can see different styles of architecture emerged in the design of the palace. Chowmahalla actually was built in 45 acres of land but only 12 acres of land remain today.
Chowmahalla palace is a royal house consists of two courtyards (North and South), the grand Khilwat known as Darbar hall, fountains and gardens. Khilwat Mubarak, Northern and Southern courtyards, Clock Tower, Council Hall, Roshan Bangla remained as the main attractions of the Chowmahalla palace.
