Note : While registration technically continues until the last day, booking slots may close early due to high demand.
The yatra begins from 19th April, starting with Yamunotri and Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath and Badrinath.
It is necessary to register for yourself and for your vehicles before going to start the Char Dham Yatra. You need to check your registrations at each of the dham visit Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. You can take a token slot by waiting in the queue at counters in Janki Chatti(Yamunotri), Gangotri Temple, Kedarnath Temple and Badrinath ISBT or BRO Circle or Mana Parking. For devotees who prefer offline registration, counters are available at Nayagon(Vikasnagar), Rahi Hotel, Haridwar, Gurudwara, Rishikesh, Herbertpur(Vikasanagar) and Transit Camp, Rishikesh. At these counters, you can complete registration and obtain their yatra pass before proceeding.
For this char dham yatra, you can trek to reach the hilltop or you can hire a helicopter ride. To opt for heli services, you can book it only through IRCTC.
