Dharmasthala or Dharmashala is a spiritual city located on the banks of the Netravati river in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. It is earlier known as Kuduma.
It is familiar for its Manjunatha temple which houses the idols of Manjunatha, Ammanavaru, Chandranatha and Dharma Daivas - Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumaraswamy & Kanyakumari. This temple is run by a Jain administration and poojas are conducted by Hindu priests who follow the Vaishnava ideologies. There is also a Bahubali statue and a Manjusha museum.
