The Galikonda View point is a well known scenic spot in Araku Valley offering its visitors a breathtaking wide angle views. This viewpoint is situated at a height of approximately 4,320 feet and is the highest point in the Visakhapatnam district & the second highest peak in the Eastern Ghats.

It is described as one of the highest points in Araku Valley offering a bird's eye view of the entire valley. It is situated along routes connecting to the other popular places like Borra Caves. It is accessible by raod from Araku & Visakhapatnam and is open for visitors with free entry.
Araku bus stand is located at a distance of around 16.2 KM from the view point. You can take a local auto from the bus stand to view point and you can cover the remaining sightseeing places in the same vehicle.
