About Bogatha Waterfalls

Bogatha waterfalls is a popular tourist destination in Mulugu district. It is called with the other name Cheekulapalli falls and is located in Cheekulapalli forest area. It is best to visit from July to November as heavy water flow can be seen here during that time. 

The water hear overflowing from the hills forms the Bogatha water reservoir. The water here falls from a height of 30 feet and is located between the Kaleshwaram-Bhadrachalam forests.

Significance:

Bogatha is informally called as the "Telangana Niagara" or "Telangana Niagara Jalapatham". It has a nice scenery and a well maintained park & tower to see around. There is no road facility, and you can reach the waterfall by treking for some distance. 

It is the second largest waterfalls in the Telangana region. It is a magical waterfall with scenic & peaceful surroundings, lush greenery making it a perfect location for refreshment & relaxation and escape from busy lifestyle.

How To Reach:

The nearest bus stand to these falls is Eturnagaram at a distance of around 24 KM. From there, you can hire a taxi to reach the waterfalls.
