Kadalekalu Ganesha is a idol of Ganesha carved out of a huge rock which is located in Hampi. The belly of the idol looks like a Bengal gram which is called as Kadalekalu in the local language. It is a beautiful stone structure and there is a sanctorum(garbha griha) around the idol.
The temple includes tall granite pillars in the temple hall that are decorated with carvings of various mythological characters and themes.
Significance:
The statue of Ganesha in this temple has a height of about 15 feet(4.5 meters tall) and is one of the largest statues in Hampi. It is situated on the slope of Hemakuta hill and provides scenic views of Hampi Bazaar and Matanga Hill.
This temple showcases the artistic skill and is a symbol of royal contribution. It's atmosphere and surroundings make it one of the most photographed monuments in Hampi.

Hampi bus stand is just 300m away from the temple and can be reached easily by walk from bus stand.
