This mint house is situated within the Royal Enclosure and is close to other military buildings. It was designed with security and function.

Significance:

Coins made of gold, silver, and copper were produced in the Mint House and were used across South India for trade and administration. Each coin often carried royal symbols, inscriptions or deities as a symbol of royal authority and trust.
