The Veerabhadreshwara temple is a well known and important temple located in Humnabad in Bidar district of Karnataka. This temple is dedicated to lord Veerabhadra, a powerful form of lord Shiva.

Significance:
According to legends, lord Veerabhadra was created by lord Shiva in anger to destroy Daksha Yagna. Over time, Veerabhadra came to be worshipped as a powerful protector deity.
The temple has been a center of devotion for generations. Every year, the temple hosts the famous Veerabhadreshwara Jatara which attracts lakhs of devotees across Karnataka. This jathara happens during January or February and includes rituals, events and yatra of lord Shiva(Veerabhadreshwara) on ratham .
