The Statue of Equality, also referred to as the Ramanuja Statue, is a statue of the 11th-century Vaishnavaite Saint Bhagavad Sri Ramanujacharya, he is Hindu philosopher, theologian, social reformer, and one of the most important exponents of the Sri Vaishnavism tradition within Hinduism. The Statue of Equality is located on the premises of the Chinna Jeeyar Trust at Muchintal, Hyderabad. This statue was made in China and purchased by the trust to commemorate 1000 years since Ramanuja's birth. Costing an estimated around Rs.1,000 crore (US$130 million), the project was paid for through the donations of devotees.The Statue of Equality was inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi on 5 February 2022.
