Medicine forest view is also known as Madhikettan Solai( tamil word which means the forest that confuses the mind). It is a charming destination within the Berijam forest region and near Berijam lake.This forest includes numerous medicinal plants and rare flora making it rich Ayurvedic heritage. You can see the view of this forest from the lake  It is in the middle of lush green landscapes and has dense forest, foggy hills and a peaceful ambience.

The forest is notable for its variety of medicinal plants and some of them are used for traditional Ayurvedic medicine. This rich biodiversity adds the environmental siginificance of the region.  As part of Shola grassland ecosystem, it includes a wide range of flora & fauna, making it a important component of the region's biodiversity.

How To Reach Medicine Forest View

This forest is located at  a distance of around 21.8 KM from the Kodaikanal bus stand. You can take a local taxi to reach the forest and is accessible via the Pillar Rocks road.  It is near Berijam lake.
