Attukad WaterFalls

Attukad Waterfalls is a beautiful and peaceful waterfall located at  a shortest distance from Munnar and can be found between Munnar and Pallivasal on NH-49. The water here flows down rocky slopes into a clear pool, visible from the roadside. 

Visitors can enjoy its charm without any trek. It is surrounded by thick green forests and tea gardens. A wooden bridge and walking path lead to the falls, making it easy to access. It is more beautiful and attractive in monsoon season or after the monsoon as the water flow is heavy and strong at that time. Also, the surrounding hills are lush & misty.

How To Reach

Munnar bus stand is the nearest stop to Attukad falls, located at a distance of around 8.5 KM. You can take a local bus or taxi from the bus stand to reach the falls.
