The Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is a popular tea estate known as the world's highest organic tea plantation, which is 2400 meters high above sea level. It is situated in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu and near Munnar in Kerala through a jeep ride. It offers an exciting & stunning views of the Western Ghats, misty hills and vast green tea gardens.
The tea estate also has a historic tea factory built in the 1930s, where tea is still made using old fashioned methods.
