Tiger cave

Tiger cave is a natural cave located near Viripara waterfalls in the Mankulam region, at the nearest distance to Munnar town. It is surrounded by thick green forests and the cave got its name because people believe that tigers once lived there. Some even say you can still see old tiger footprints on the rocks. Viripara waterfalls bus stop is the nearest stop from the tiger caves at a distance of around 3.1 KM. You can take a local auto or taxi to reach the caves from the bus stop.
