Tea Estate in Ooty is situated on Doddabetta road at the starting point of Doddabetta Peak, it stands at a height of 1839 metres and is spread across an acre. This tea factory shows you the complete process of making tea from collecting tea leaves to packing tea powder.

There is a tea museum inside the factory which shows you all the methods of tea leaves using machines. You will get a cup of tea after completing the procedure to taste the perfect natural tea. You can also see the chocolate production and can buy chocolates like fruits & nuts, fig & honey, raisins and nuts, milk & coffee and sugar free varieties.

Ooty Tea Estate is located in Lovedale rd, Fern Hill, Ooty. Ooty central bus stand is located at a distance of  3.2 KM from the tea estate. Ooty railway station is located at a distance of 3.9 KM from this estate. You can take a local taxi to reach the estate easily.
