The Sri Ranganathaswamy temple is located in Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, TamilNadu. It is also known as Thiruvarangam and houses the deity lord Vishnu. This text describes the Azhwars(12 honored Vaishnava saints in TamilNadu) who lived from the 6th to 9 th century. This place is considered one of the 108 Divya Desams, of lord Vishnu.
