About Planetarium

The Priyadarsini Planetarium is located within the Kerala Science and Technology Museum in Thiruvananthapuram. It is one of the most advanced planetariums in South India which was opened in 1994. This planetarium includes a spacious theater covered with dome and contains a modern sky projector that shows the night sky, stars, planets and other space scenes. 

It runs regular shows in both Malayalam and English & is a popular among students, tuitions and those interested in space. Visitors can watch sky shows that explain various space topics in a clear and engaging way. The planetarium also hosts special programs and events during science festivals and educational tours, helping people explore the universe in an exciting manner.

How To Reach

Trivandrum bus stand is located at a distance of around 3.2 KM from the museum. You can reach the museum by taking a auto or a local bus from the bus stand.
