Before starting the Amarnath darshan tour, darshan tickets registration is mandatory for all devotees participating in the yatra. Without a valid registration slip and medical certificate, devotees are not allowed to proceed to the yatra. The Amarnath Yatra 2026 opening is March 15 2026 and closing dateand is April 15 2026. It is advised to complete the registration process as early as possible, as slots are limited and may fill up quickly.

Amarnath Yatra Darshan Start Date & End Dates

The Amarnath Yatra 2026 is scheduled to begin during the auspicious Shravan month and will last for a few days. This darshan tour of lord Shiva at Amarnath cave will start from July 3, 2026 and end on August 9 2026. These are tentative dates, the exact dates will be confirmed soon by the SASB board. Amarnath Yatra Darshan Tickets Online Registration Process

The online Amarnath yatra registration process can be only done through the official website of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB). 

Step 1: Go to the website and navigate to the “Online Services” tab from the Menu. Click on Yatra Permit Registration
Step 2: Create an account using a valid email and mobile number
Step 3: Fill the application form by entering your personal details
Step 4 : Select the route and date. There are 2 routes Jammu-Pahalgam-Holy Cave and Jammu-Baltal-Holy Cave
Step 5: Upload a recent passport sized scanned photo and the scanned CHC.You can get the Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC)  from SASB Medical Institution.This certificate should be dated 15 to 30 days before the yatra.
Step 6: Complete the payment and upon getting the payment confirmation, you can download & print the Yatra Permit. 

Amarnath Yatra Darshan Tickets Offline Registration Process

The offline Amarnath Yatra registration procedure is so simple. To register offline, SASB listed out the State & Unior Teritory wise list of doctors & institutions that are authorized to issue CHC(Compulsory Health Certificate) certificates. So, you can get the certificate at the nearby hospital from the list. 

You need this CHC certificate,  valid photo ID proof and passport photographs for the registration. For offline registration, you need to pay a fee of Rs.220 per person. You can make the offline registrations through Jammu & Kashmir Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India (SBI) and YES Bank at any of the branches across India.

Note: Persons with age below 13 years and above 70 years are not allowed. Pregnant women with more than 6 weeks of pregnancy are not allowed.
