The Amarnath Yatra registration for 2026 will be open from March 15th and will be available up to April 15th. So, it is advised to register early, as slots are limited and issued on a first come first served basis. The registration will be in two ways: online through SASB(Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board) official website and offline through authorized banks.

How To Register For Amarnath Yatra Online

The Amarnath Yatra online registration procedure is the most convenient option for devotees. Here is the step by step procedure for the online registration.

• Step 1: Go to the website and navigate to the “Online Services” tab from the Menu. Click on Yatra Permit Registration
• Step 2: Create an account using a valid email and mobile number
• Step 3: Fill the application form by entering your personal details
• Step 4: Select the route and date. There are 2 routes Jammu-Pahalgam-Holy Cave and Jammu-Baltal-Holy Cave
• Step 5: Upload a recent passport sized scanned photo and the scanned CHC.You can get the Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC)  from SASB Medical Institution.This certificate should be dated 15 to 30 days before the yatra.
• Step 6: Complete the payment and upon getting the payment confirmation, you can download & print the Yatra Permit. 

How To Register For Amarnath Yatra Offline

Devotees can also register for the yatra offline through banks like Yes Bank, SBI Bank, Punjab National Bank and Jammu & Kashmir Bank at any of the branches within India. However, first you need to get a CHC(Compulsory Health Certificate) which we can get through doctors or medical institutions that are authorized by the SASB. The list of doctors and hospitals where to get the CHC is included in the SASB official site State wise. So, you can get the certificate at the nearby hospital from the list.

• Step 1: Visit any authorized bank branch of SASB authorized banks near you
• Step 2: Collect the Amarnath Yatra registration form and fill in all the required details
• Step 3: Along with the application form, submit your recent passport photos, valid government ID proof, original CHC certificate
• Step 4: Pay the registration fee at the bank
• Step 5: Collect the stamped Yatra Permit from the bank
