Anegudde also known as Kumbashi or Kumbasi is a village in Udupi district of Karnataka. It is situated on the route from Udupi to Kundapura on the National Highway 66. There is a small hill called Anegudde which is well known for Vinayaka temple. The place below the hill is known as Kumbashi.
This place is popular tourist destination with one of the best known temples of Ganesha in Udupi district. It is the Maha Ganapathi temple at Kumbashi which is one of the seven Mukthi sthalas. Kumbashi Ganapathi temple is mentioned in the Tirtha Prabandha written by Madhwa tradition saint Shri Vadiraja Tirtha.
