Solar circle analysis with long term data from more than 117 years old. It also checks the equitorial ionosphere and electrojet in relation to solar activity. It records hourly weather data for meteorological use. It promotes public education through guided tours, sky observations, and academic programs in astronomy.
It has solar tunnel telescope, Ionosondes, Full disc imaging, high frequency doppler radar, magnetometer, sesimograph, GPS receiver. There is also a library with collection of astronomical literature, skeletal collection of current literature in solar & solar terrestrial physics.
