Silver Cascade Falls

Silver Cascade fals is a beautiful waterfall located along the Kodaikanal Madurai Ghat road. This waterfalls is at a height of around 180 ft and are formed by the overflow of the Kodaikanal Lake. It  is a natural and refreshing place making visitors stop while they are in drive to enter the hill station.

The view of the waterfall, is perfect because it was settled in the middle of lush greenery and can be seen from a long distance while you approach through the ghat road. The sound of waterfalls feels like a roaring sound and the white waters falling over rocky slopes attracts more visitors. They can spend more time admiring nature's beauty and it is heaven for photographers.

Significance Of Silver Cascade Falls

This waterfall is a result of the outflow from the Kodaikanal lake constructed in 1863. From several years, these falls are being a popular tourist attraction offering most beautiful scenary for photography and a refreshing ambience. The name Silver Cascade falls was formed because water has silvery appearance and it cascades(falls) down the rocks.
