Alappuzha beach or Alleppey beach is a beach in Alappuzha town and is a popular tourist attraction of the town. There is a Alappuzha lighthouse situated near to the beach. Camel safari is the another attraction here. Many events like Alappuzha beach festival, Sand art festival will be held here annually.
This beach also has a 150 years old pier(platform used for boats to dock or for walking) extended to sea. In this beach, Kerala's first international sand art festival & competition was held on 26th April 2015 in which national & international sand artists participated in the event.
