Alappuzha beach or Alleppey beach is a beach in Alappuzha town and is a popular tourist attraction of the town. There is a Alappuzha lighthouse situated near to the beach. Camel safari is the another attraction here. Many events like Alappuzha beach festival, Sand art festival will be held here annually.
This beach also has a 150 years old pier(platform used for boats to dock or for walking) extended to sea. In this beach, Kerala's first international sand art festival & competition was held on 26th April 2015 in which national & international sand artists participated in the event.
Alleppey beach is significant both for its natural beauty and historical importance. It is a perfect place for both tourists and local people to relax, walk and enjoy the beach view. It has an old pier and a lighthouse which shows its long history as a busy port town.

Alleppey bus stand is located at a distance of around 3.9 KM from the beach. You can take a local auto from the bus stand to reach the destination. Kadapuram bus stop is the nearest stop to the beach at a distance of 550 m and can be reached by walk from the stop.
Kadapuram bus stop is 3.7 KM away from the Alleppey bus stand. Buses run frequently from Alleppey bus stand to Kadapuram bus stop. Else, you can take a local auto or taxi from the bus stand.
