Jungle Safari

Mudumalai National Park in Ooty, is a largest tiger reserve and is offering different Jungle safaris. The Jungle safari includes vehicles like Mazda Mini Bus, Bolero Camper and Gypsy. No private vehicles are allowed for safari rides. Only department  vehicles are allowed for safaris. 

Mazda Mini Bus Jungle Safari

In this vehicle, visitors can enjoy a 60 minute ride through the Tiger Reserve and visitors should assemble an hour before their turn.

The first bus will start at 6:30 AM and the last safari bus will leave at 5:00 PM.

In weekdays & weekends the price for Indian will be Rs.340; for foreigner it is Rs.2500; for children it is Rs.173 and for foreign children it is Rs.825.

Jungle Safari By Bolero Camper

Visitors can go on a 60 minutes ride in the Tiger Reserve in Bolero Camper belonging to the Tiger Reserve Management. Visitors should assemble an hour before their turn. The first camper safari is at 6:30 AM and the last camper safari is at 5:00 PM

In weekdays & weekends the camper safari price for Indian adult & child it is Rs.130 and for foreigner adult & child it is Rs.400.

Jungle Safari By Gypsy

The first Gypsy safari will be at 6:30 AM and the last safari will be at 5:00 PM. Visitors should be assemble 1 hour before their turn. This safari will be 60 minutes long.

In weekdays & weekends the camper safari price for Indian adult & child it is Rs.130 and for foreigner adult & child it is Rs.400.

How To Reach:

You can take a bus from Ooty to Theppakadu which is the main nearest bus stop to Mudumalai National Park which is at a distance of around 5.4 KM from the national park.
