Eravikulam National Park

Eravikulam National Park is a famous wildlife park located in the Idukki district of Kerala near Munnar.  It is known for its beautiful green hills, grasslands and cool climate. The park is spread over a large area in the Western Ghats and offers amazing views of valleys and mountains.

One of the main attractions here is the Nilgiri Tahr, a rare mountain goat is found only in this region. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty, peaceful environment  and can get a chance to see wild animals in their natural habitat.

Significance

The Eravikulam National Park is popular for the Neelakurinji flowers, which bloom only once every 12 years, covering the hills with blue purple flowers. How To Reach

Munnar bus stand is the nearest stop located at a distance of around 8.1 KM from the park. You can take a local taxi or bus to reach the falls from the bus stand.
