Panchamukha Ganesha Temple

The Panchamukha Ganesha temple is on the way to Mysore from Bangalore and is located 17 km from Bangalore, near BasavaNagar bus stop. The Ganesh deity will have five faces which symbolises the Pancha Koshas called Annamaya Kosha, Pranamaya Kosha, Manomaya Kosha, Vijnanamaya Kosha and Anandamaya Kosha. It is visible from the highway with its magnificent height. This temple represents the mount of Ganesha as Lion other than the usual mount Mooshika. The temple can be found 200m after the tollgate.

Mukthi Naga Temple

The Mukthi Naga Kshetra is a world’s largest Naga statue about 16 feet long.Subrahmanya Swamy can be seen in four stages as Kukke Subramanya in childhood,
Ghati Subramanya in youth, Palani marriage stage and Subramanya Swamy as the final stage in this temple. It is located at a distance of 18 km from Bangalore and 5 km from
Mysore on Bangalore-Mysore road. It can be found 1km from Ramohalli bus stand.

Entry Timings: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Srirangapatna

Srirangapatna is the popular temple next to Kaveri river and is one of the famous Panch Ranga Kshetras and is the temple of Sri Ranganathaswamy. It is located on Bangalore-Mysore road at a distance of 130 km from Bangalore and 15 km from Mysore.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is free, for quick darshan-Rs.250 and for Viswaroopa Seva-Rs50
Entry Timings: 6:00 AM-1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Somnathpur Temple

Somnathpur Temple has a deity of Prasanna Chennakesava Swamy on the banks of Kaveri river. This temple was built in 1268 by Somnatha, King Narasimha III and contains three shrines of Keshava,Janardhana and Venugopala, three carved vimanas with a common mandapa. It is located in between Bangalore and Mysore which is at a distance of 137 km from Bangalore and 35 km from Mysore. 
Entry Fee: Rs.5 for Indians, Rs.100 for Foreign Visitors
Entry Timings: 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

Santhana Gopala Krishna Temple

Sanathana Gopala Krishna temple was condemned for submersion in 1909, and lay underwater for more than 70 years. The temple was restored 1 km north from the original site.It is located on the Bangalore-Mysore road at a distance of 180 km from Bangalore and 35 km from Mysore. 
Entry Fee: Free
Entry Timings: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Talakadu Temple

Talakadu is an ancient temple that went into the sand and after excavation it has small temples of Shiva as Paathaleshwara, Karuleshwara, Arkeshwara, Vaideeshwara, Makkikarjuneswara. It is located in Bangalore-Mysore road at a distance of 185 km from Bangalore and 45 km from Mysore. 
Entry Fee: Free
Entry Timings: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
