The Govinda raja swamy temple is in Tirupati at a distance of 600 m from Tirupati railway garden which is within 200 KM. This is an ancient Hindu temple built during the 12th century and was consecrated(Prathista) by saint Ramanuja. In this temple, the deity is in reclining yoga nidra posture facing east with the right hand under his head and left hand straight over his body. According to Puranas, Govinda raja swamy is the elder brother of Venkateswara.

Tiruchanur

Tiruchanur being within 200 KM from Tirupati has a distance of around 5.3 KM and at a distance of 4.7 KM from Tirupati railway station. It is a popular temple city with the temple of goddess Padmavathi devi also known as Alamelu Mangamma with her consort lord Venkateswara. According to puranas, goddess Lakshmi was born as Alamelu to the ruler of this region, Akasa Raja and married to Lord Venkateswara.

Vakula Matha Temple

The Vakula matha temple is in Tirupati city within 200 KM range at a distance of 9.3 KM and at a distance of 8.8 KM from Tirupati railway station. Vakula Devi temple was built around 300 years ago on Perubanda hillock around Perur in Tirupati. In this temple the idol of goddess Vakula matha faces the seven hills, where her son Venkateswara resides.

Srinivasa Mangapuram

Srinivasa Mangapuram is situated at a distance of 10.7 KM from Tirupati railway station and 10.6 KM from Tirupati city which is within 200 KM distance. Srinivasa Mangapuram is a temple of lord Venkateswara and is worshipped in the name of  Kalyana Venkateswara swamy. A sage named Jabali starts chanting on the hill to get the form of Hanuman in advance. Then, Rudra, impressed by his deep penance, shows the upcoming form of him which is the Hanuman Avatar. As the incarnation formed after penance(Japam), this theertham got the name as Japali Anjaneya Swamy and is called Jabali teertham as all other holy water sources come together and join here. Kanipakam

Kanipakam is known for the temple of Lord Ganesha in the name of Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka swamy. It is a swayambhu deity that came out from the well in the form of a stone. Once there lived three brothers and each of them were blind, deaf and dumb. Due to water scarcity for the fields, there was no water in the well, so one of the three brothers went to dig the well and he hit a stone with a long iron rod that came out with blood after hitting. Then, the water turned into blood red colour and upon beating it more the idol of the lord Vinayaka came out from the well.
