Alibag, otherwise called Alibaug, is a waterfront town, only south of Mumbai, in western India. It's known for its shorelines like Alibag Beach and Varsoli Beach. Simply seaward, seventeenth century Kolaba Fort has carvings of tigers and elephants, and sanctuaries committed to Hindu divine beings. Toward the south, Portuguese-manufactured Korlai Fort dates from 1521 and incorporates a beacon. The island stronghold of Janjira has high dividers, turrets and guns.
